Sarah has an extensive background within the education sector in events management and programme delivery working with schools, universities and the wider community. She is passionate for digital marketing and social media, with experience managing accounts, writing blogs and website development. Sarah is using this experience with JS Group, focusing on video content and strategic engagement with social media across the business.
She graduated with a First Class Honours in the Arts from the University of Sunderland in 2015. After graduating, she was offered a one year internship in the University’s Student Recruitment and Marketing team, to raise aspirations and promote the benefits of Higher Education to regional schools and colleges, as well as national events across the country. She then worked at an education charity as Programme Coordinator then being promoted to Programme Manager, organising large conferences and training events for teachers to address educational disadvantage.
Sarah has thrived in her role as Engagement Partner at JS Group since starting in July 2018, returning to the University of Sunderland to use her in-depth knowledge of the institution, contacts and personal experience to drive student engagement and deliver better outcomes for all.
